What i think

I believe that Freud's Oedipus Model is quite interesting and seems fairly understandable, but the conclusion that Freud draws from it lead to some very serious conclusions about what does it mean to be heterosexual and homosexual. For example in the article it states that Freud says that heterosexuality is normal than homosexuality. Although it may seem so why it could be easier to understand that heterosexuality is easier to understand I believe it is not right to say it is more natural than any other type of sexuality. When speaking in terms of natural almost anything can be natural if it comes through experience or as a gift. Basically natural is what is meant to happen without you doing something. In defense with the homosexual community and in offense againt Freud, homosexuality is as normal as heterosexuality because one is born with who they are going to be. Some may realize their sexuality earlier or later. That is why it is natural.

When speaking of the strength of our masculine and feminine disposition to determine our long life sexuality identification is something I could not entirely agree with or disagree with. There are times when we have people who are so pro heterosexuality, but could later on become gay. Sometimes homosexuals could choose to become straight, although rarely we see that, but it happens. Whether one has strong feminine or masculine dispositions does not guarantee ones full sexuality because sometimes they could have both. If the masculine and feminine disposition were looked at together to determine sexuality then it could be true that it could define one;s sexuality.
